Big Night
A Celebration of Food, Cinema & a Bygone Era
The 1996 film "The Big Night" is at the top of the cinema favorites list for anyone who loves Italian food, and it is especially popular among Italian Club of Dallas (ICD) members. On November 7, our Chef Tommaso Lestingi will create a meal to beat all meals in tribute to the memorable "Big Night."
The evening will feature Menu Items based on the movie entrees, the music of Louie Prima, the movie viewing, and the joyous Italian spirit and camaradarie typical to all ICD celebrations.
Please note, the pasta will not be served with meatballs, because sometimes, "the Pasta just wants to be alone".
MENU
Melanzane Rollatini (rolled eggplant),
Zuppe di Fave (traditional Italian bean soup),
Timballo di Pasta (individual servings),
Risotto di Mare (seafood risotto),
Spigola alle Olive (sea bass with olives),
Cannoli
Please feel free to come dressed in period attire.
